EU: Muslim Minorities Face “Particularly Challenging” Conditions

Vienna, 24 Nov. (AKI) – Muslim minorities and migrant workers from Africa, the Middle East and Asia are subject to discrimination and live in “particularly challenging conditions” in Western European nations. But the Roma gypsies are the group facing the highest level of racism and discrimination across Europe, according to the newly published study by the European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia (EUMC) in Vienna. The annual report surveys all 25 EU member states.
